RITZ brand Grip-All Clampsticks ("Shotgun Sticks") are the most
used of all Hot Line Tools. A shotgun stick is an essential part of
any tool set. The stick’s hook operation is controlled with a
voidfree pultruded fiberglass rod operated from the handle, allowing
three different positive positions as shown on the photo below.
The folding models are equipped with a locking hinge that allow easy
transport, handling and storage when not in use.
Shotgun Sticks are tested per ASTM F-711.
OPEN — Position to engage the grounding clamp eye or some other parts equipped with a shotgun eye.
CLOSED — In this position the hook closes the grounding clamp eye, allowing it to be swiveled, even in angular
positions.
DRAWN BACK — When drawn back into the head, the hook keeps the grounding clamp completely locked to the grip-all
stick, which secures the clamp placement into position.
Models with a "A" suffix at the end of their Part No. are
factory fitted
with a universal head fitting on the butt end.
Also the versatility of the Shotgun Stick can be extended by purchasing and
equipping it with the universal adapter (Part No. RM1867) that is sold
separately.
